We did it! You did it! Yipee! Hooray! Hoorah! Rock on! Woohoo! Woot! Hugs, kisses and so much more! 30 days of Hoop Boot Camp, over, done, finished, complete. How do you feel? Take a stroll back to your goals and take note, make some comparisons and assess what you feel really good about having achieved. Take note especially of the good feelings, the accomplishments, the adventures, the over coming of hurdles, the meeting of minds, the rockets of desire, the inspiring thoughts, the rush of good vibes, the community you have built, the strength you have gained, the 30 days that you have grown. And the rest? Well you can probably scrunch that bit up and throw it in the bin. Focus on the negative and lack of will truly only attract more and we don't want that now do we? So, scoop up the goodness, congratulate yourself in as many ways as you can find to celebrate your ongoing success and send gratitude out into your spiraling life practice and for sure what will return to you is an extended path of positivity and success to skip along.
In celebration I would love us to add to today's discussion by sharing our good vibes that have been created during this Hoop Boot Camp 30 day self-transformation. A celebration with words!
Thank you to each and everyone of you who have participated, tried to participate, thought about participating or sent good vibes our way. Hoop Boot Camp began as a way for me to make more hoop videos and maintain a daily hoop practice, what it evolved into was so much more. Hoop Boot Camp became a community of like minded, conscious hoopers who shared, supported and HOOPED! I am truly greatly for that element alone, however I can say that I have maintained a daily hoop practice as a result.
Hoop Boot Camp, with the guidance of all the hoopers involved, encouraged me to heighten my awareness of the gratitude I was feeling each day. I looked forward to sharing my grats and especially reading others. In moments when I wasn't feeling on top of the world I would click over to our Gratitude Journals and feel better within moments of reading everyone's attitudes of gratitude.
Hoop Boot Camp helped me connect more strongly with the Tokyo hooping community and become (online) friends with many other hoopers around the world.
I may or may not have released 3kg or 2cm but I gained hundreds of ideas, tons of inspiration and end the 30 days feeling far more in tune with who I am, my intentions and how love filled my life is. For that I am grateful and truly believe I have most certainly transformed. Thank you!
How about you super hooper?
Video of the day:
Hoop Celebration at Burning Man
Action of the day: Celebrate. Give thanks to yourself and those around you.
Affirmation: I am at peace with all that is in this moment.
Inspiration: Look famous. Be Legendary. Appear complex. Act easy. Radiate presence. Seem a dream. Prove real.
Desiderata
Go placidly amid the noise and the haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence. As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons. Speak your truth quietly and clearly; and listen to others, even to the dull and the ignorant, they too have their story. Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexations to the spirit.
If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for always there will be greater and lesser persons than yourself. Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans. Keep interested in your own career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.
Exercise caution in your business affairs, for the world is full of trickery. But let not this blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism. Be yourself. Especially do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass. Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.
Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness. Beyond a wholesome discipline, be gentle with yourself. You are a child of the universe, no less than the trees and the stars; you have a right to be here. And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.
Therefore, be at peace with God, whatever you conceive Him to be. And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace in your soul. With all its sham, drudgery and broken dreams; it is still a beautiful world. Be cheerful.

Well, it's August 31, and Hoop Boot Camp was officially over yesterday. While I didn't keep up with the posting aspect as well as I might have, I did challenge myself to hoop more, be more open about hooping in public and talking about hooping with others, and to try new moves.
Having Hoop Boot Camp in mind made it easier to go outside and pick up the hoop on days that I might have just lazed around instead. It was fun to see what others were doing, and I feel like I've been more motivated to seek out new tricks to try. In the past month, I have learned the dolphin, the pop-up, the fun start, and I've smoothed out the reverse vortex in both directions. I've gotten to about 90% on the arm hooping and elbow passes. I've worked on my jumps more.
Though I didn't accomplish my specific goals -- the kickstart and foot hooping -- I did work on them some, and I'm OK with working on these later. I don't feel like I'm ready for them yet physically; they're both quite uncomfortable. My goal of hooping every day I mostly met. I've learned that it's hard to get me to hoop on Saturday if I'm at home. I feel like there are so many other things that need doing that by the time they're done, I'm exhausted. It's OK to have a rest day. I need to be less focused on the "every day" part and focus more on the quality of my hooping the rest of the time.
This month: I went to the Electro Circus meetup, and that was awesome. I turned 27. I am still working on the LED hoop, but it should be done this week.
The more I hoop the more I work out where my weaknesses are. Focusing on my hooping this month, and remembering Hoop Boot Camp, has improved my flow and my happiness in the hoop. It's made me work on things that are hard for me and enjoy perfecting the things I do well. Hooping consciousness!
Thank you, all you Hooplovers, for making this a productive and focused month!
